Children’s Museum Receives Grant to Bring STEAM to Hartford’s Latinx Children

HARTFORD, CT -- To increase access to STEAM experiences for 800 Hartford Latinx children, the Latino Endowment Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving has awarded The Children’s Museum a one-year, $20,000 grant to support its “Bringing STEAM to Hartford Latinx Children & Families” program.

Connecticut will lose $2900 in federal funding for every person not counted in the 2020 Census

HARTFORD, CT -- With billions of dollars in federal funding on the line, the state has committed $500,000 to boost participation in the 2020 Census, Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz announced Thursday.
