Over 200 people gathered for Connect2024: Stories to Inspire Action. In a full day of learning and connection, we explored the power of stories to shape our understanding and move our work forward. Highlights included a fascinating keynote by communications expert Andy Goodman, a moving opening performance by New Haven poet laureate Sharmont "Influence" Little, and a plenary featuring state poet laureate Antoinette Brim-Bill, Joshua Carter of the Mashantucket Pequot Museum, and historian and Dean of UConn Hartford Mark Overmyer-Velázquez, highlighting the rich tapestry of Connecticut stories.
