WELLESLEY, MA -- Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation today announced that it awarded more than $1.25 million in grants to 885 nonprofit organizations in more than 350 communities in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire in 2018. Since its inception in 1980, the Foundation has granted more than $150 million in funds throughout the four states.
WATERBURY, CT -- Connecticut Community Foundation has awarded grants totaling $96,000 to ten nonprofit organizations serving residents of 21 towns in Greater Waterbury and the Litchfield Hills. WELLESLEY, MA -- Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation has announced its 2019 Healthy Food Fund Grant Guidelines and RFP. The Foundation is looking to support 25 local nonprofit organizations located in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire that are primarily volunteer-powered to grow, glean or distribute fresh, free produce to low-income families and older adults. Grant awards will be up to $25,000 per year and are eligible for renewal for up to three years. A total of $625,000 will be awarded throughout the region in 2019.
