Kim Healey Honored with Philanthropy Award
HARTFORD, CT – The Connecticut Council for Philanthropy named KIM HEALEY, executive director of the NewAlliance Foundation, the recipient of the 2015 Martha S. Newman Award. Kim, a resident of New Canaan, was honored for her demonstrated, sustained and exemplary service to one or more organizations and the philanthropic sector in the state.

Three Honored by Council for Philanthropy
HARTFORD, CT -- More than 250 philanthropists, grantmakers and community leaders from across the state gathered last week at the Connecticut Council for Philanthropy’s annual luncheon to honor three philanthropic leaders: BARBARA NETTER, president and co-founder of Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy (Stamford), KIM HEALEY, executive director of the NewAlliance Foundation (New Haven), and THE WALKER GROUP, one of Connecticut’s largest IT Services firm.

Event to Feature CT’s Philanthropic Leadership

NEW HAVEN, CT -- More than 200 philanthropists, grantmakers and community leaders will gather on April 30 at the Omni Hotel in New Haven for the Connecticut Council for Philanthropy’s Annual Meeting and Philanthropy Awards, Philanthropy’s Role in Empowering Change--in recognition of the 50th anniversaries of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965--and honoring leaders in the philanthropic field.
