HARTFORD, CT -- United Way has made 12 awards in its first round of grants from its COVID-19 response fund, Neighbors in Need. NEW LONDON, CT -- The Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut announces that the “Request for Proposal” (RFP) for the Neighbors for Neighbors Fund will be open on Monday, April 27, 2020. Grants from this fund are available to organizations serving the basic needs of residents of the Foundation’s 42-town region. The application deadline is 5 pm on Friday, May 8, 2020.
