Sponsors Visit STEM Programs Aimed at Fighting Summer Learning Loss

Representatives from the American Savings Foundation, United Way of Central & Northeastern Connecticut, The Community Foundation of Greater New Britain, members of the New Britain Coalition for New Britain’s Youth and others toured New Britain High School to observe students participating in the district’s "XTREME" Summer Enrichment Experience program.

Community Chest of New Britain and Berlin Offers First-Ever Community Sponsorship Awards

The program is modeled, with slight variation, after a similar program offered for the last several years by the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain. The Community Chest is a supporting organization of the Community Foundation. Deadlines are March 1 and September 1, 2017.
