HARTFORD, CT -- The Hartford Foundation remains committed to supporting civic engagement across our region. Last year, the Hartford Foundation awarded 20 grants totaling $448,400 over eighteen months to support voter engagement and Census participation activities among several underrepresented groups.
RIDGEFIELD, CT -- The Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield received a $7,000 grant from the Fairfield County Community Foundation to provide for the basic needs of children from working families. The Club opened its doors last week to new and returning kids from working families.
WATERBURY, CT
NEW HAVEN, CT -- Two grants from the William Caspar Graustein Memorial Fund totaling $241,500 are intended to help the New Haven Public Schools support racial equity within the school district.
