HARTFORD, CT -- To increase access to STEAM experiences for 800 Hartford Latinx children, the Latino Endowment Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving has awarded The Children’s Museum a one-year, $20,000 grant to support its “Bringing STEAM to Hartford Latinx Children & Families” program.

According to the organization, there’s an 83 percent increase in teen participation since 2017 with approximately 400 teens participating in JTConnect’s programs. Due to this growth, the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Hartford (JCF) awarded JTConnect a $120,000 multi-year Springboard Grant to help the nonprofit build its capacity to ensure continued, sustainable growth.
