DANBURY, CT -- Fairfield County’s Community Foundation has awarded a $9,000 COVID-19 Resiliency Grant to DanburyWORKS to assist home-base family child care providers who face challenges due to changes in enrollment, lost income, and the need for more emergency supplies as a result of the pandemic. United Way of Western Connecticut provides backbone supported for DanburyWORKS and Cora’s Kids.

DERBY, CT -- The Valley Community Foundation is pleased to share results of The Great Give® 2020 with its Valley community and to highlight the winners of VCF-sponsored Great Give prizes. Of the more than $3.5 million raised for nearly 400 nonprofits, $488,000 was raised with the help of Valley residents, employees, and VCF donor advised fund holders for nonprofit organizations located in Ansonia, Derby, Oxford, Seymour and Shelton.
