NEW LONDON, CT -- The Southeastern Connecticut Cultural Coalition announced Tuesday that in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has established the CultureSECT Economic Recovery Fund at the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut. They are providing $20,000 to Bridgeport's Downtown Special Services District to help small, independent, ground-floor businesses plan and execute their reopening.
