WATERBURY, CT -- More than 420 students in Greater Waterbury and the Litchfield Hills will find their college educations more affordable thanks to scholarships awarded by Connecticut Community Foundation for the 2017-18 academic year. The awards totaled nearly $940,000.
TORRINGTON, CT -- The Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation has made awards to 21 area nonprofit organizations, totaling more than $79,045 during its second grant cycle of 2017. The Community Foundation awards discretionary grants to northwest Connecticut charities three times a year: early spring, late June and late fall.
