In 2019, several long term ECFC action items became reality. In addition, other efforts including cross agency collaboration and state/philanthropic coordination continued and were strengthened. Key accomplishments included: launch of the state-local intermediary (CT Children’s Collective); integrated childcare financing options; ongoing coordination of CT Office of Early Childhood (OEC) and CT State Department of Education (SDE); continued state/philanthropic partnership with CT ECFC receiving Federal Preschool Development Grant dollars to support local early care and education (ECE) collaboratives; and deeper connections to national funder networks.
