New Canaan's Camp LiveGirl Builds Confident Leaders

NEW CANAAN, CT -- The 5th annual Camp LiveGirl brought together 130 girls from across Connecticut, including girls from as far away as the Waterbury Boys & Girls Club and the Connecticut Institute for Refugees and Immigrants. LiveGirl scholarships were funded by New Canaan Community Foundation, the Connecticut Community Foundation, the Grace J. Fippinger Foundation, and  Refinitiv.

New Grant Helps Children's Museum Expand Its Hartford Footprint

WEST HARTFORD, CT -- A new grant from the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving will allow the West Hartford-based Children’s Museum to bring Hartford children more STEAM programming. Michael Werle, the museum’s executive director, said a partnership between the museum, the Hartford Public Library, the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Hartford, and Connecticut Children’s is going to help the museum expand on its offerings in the city.
