Students come to Connecticut from all over the world to get a world class education. Connecticut has struggled to add these students to our workforce.
Join Uconn Department of Public Policy and Capitol Region Council of Governments (CROG) for an overview of recent trends in student migration, followed by a discussion of best practices for keeping graduates in the state.
The event will feature a presentation on student migration trends in Connecticut by the New England Board of Higher Education.
Also joining the program isa representative of Campus Philly, a nonprofit organization that fuels economic growth by encouraging college students to study, explore, live and work in the Greater Philadelphia tristate region. Their 2019 annual report shows that this organization has had an incredible economic impact on the region since it was founded in the early 2000s.
