The 2nd annual Non Profit Conference and Awards Celebration 2019, a collaboration between the Branford Community Foundation, the Guilford Foundation, and the Shoreline Chamber of Commerce. 
Last year’s conference was a huge success, drawing more than 100 nonprofit leaders, volunteers, and staff from all over the Shoreline.
The conference this year will be kicked off by keynote speaker Amy Fenollosa, director of coaching and talent development at The Latimer Group. Amy’s engaging presentation is centered on inspiring personal brand awareness and authenticity.
Education workshops throughout the day include:
- “How to Maximize Your Year-End Giving,” presented by Kimberly Spanier, Director of Marketing for Mosaic’s Nonprofit Marketing Division.
- “Leveraging Social Media for Nonprofits,” presented by Maria Miranda, Founder/Creative Director of Miranda Creative, an award-winning brand management company since 1988.
- “The Major Gift Process,” presented by Sarah Shrewsbury, founder of Vineyard Consulting which helps nonprofits start or enhance their major gift/fundraising programs.

"Insights from Foundation Grantmakers," presented by Jackie Downing, director of grantmaking and nonprofit effectiveness for The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven; and Liza Petra, executive director for the community foundations in Branford and Guilford.
Another important part of the day is the awards ceremony, which recognizes four individuals in the nonprofit community for their exemplary commitment to the organizations they serve.
