The Great Give® is an annual 36-hour, community-wide fundraising event that matches charitable organizations serving Greater New Haven with donors in a fun and engaging way. Created by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven (The Foundation), the online event is in its tenth year and has generated nearly $8 Million since it began. In 2018, The Great Give had its most successful year ever and raised $1.7 Million for participating nonprofits. The event is sponsored by The Foundation, its partner in philanthropy the Valley Community Foundation, and other businesses wishing to support and strengthen their local nonprofit community.
