HARTFORD, CT -- About 200 volunteers from Travelers, Riverfront Recapture and the Hartford community spent Friday building a new playground on an empty side at Charter Oak Landing.The design of the park, which took just six hours for the team to raise, was based on drawings by kids in neighboring communities. Playground nonprofit KaBOOM! helped organize the project, which was part of a broaded effort led by the organization and Travelers to ensure communities have quality places for kids and families to play.
