Meriden Teacher Awarded $15K Grant for Student-centered Learning

MERIDEN, CT -- Platt High School English teacher Kelly Roman will be using a $15,000 grant from the Nellie Mae Education Foundation to hold a series of workshops with local businesses and community organizations on student-centered learning. Roman is one of a dozen New England educators to receive the Lawrence W. O’Toole Leadership Award.
