Main Street Community Foundation Awards $15,000 in Grants to Benefit Plainville Residents

In 2006, the Plainville Community Fund was established at Main Street Community Foundation by a group of community leaders in Plainville. They wanted to enhance the quality of life for Plainville residents through this permanent resource for charitable programs and projects that benefit the town, and since its establishment, $144,186 in grants have been awarded. This year, a total of $15,000 has been awarded to nine local nonprofits.
