NORWICH, CT -- The media is invited to a press briefing hosted jointly by Norwich Community Development Corporation (NCDC) and Chelsea Groton Foundation. Please join us on Thursday, April 12 at 8:30A, on the steps of the downtown branch office of Chelsea Groton Bank, One Franklin Square, Norwich.
Briefing Highlights:
- Chelsea Groton Foundation to announce a significant grant for the establishment of a comprehensive Global City Initiative that will enhance activities/events with multi-cultural themes, while simultaneously developing a path to entrepreneurship for new arrivals to our community.
- NCDC will oversee this Initiative through existing and expanded relationships, while developing a specialized entrepreneurial program that meets the needs of a new generation of immigrants.
- Conceived as one aspect to the revitalization of downtown Norwich, and in recognition of the diversity in our City, this initiative will focus on multi-cultural activities and entrepreneur development within the downtown district.
