NEW BRITAIN, CT -- The Community Foundation of Greater New Britain has wrapped up its 2019 grant-making year, in total authorizing more than $1,314,681 in grant awards including over $430,000 in awards designated as Community Response Grants.

Kenney Scholarship Program at the American Savings Foundation is currently accepting applications from current high school seniors, current college students, and nontraditional adult students who will be enrolled in college for the 2020-2021 academic year. WEST HARTFORD, CT -- The Jewish Teen Learning Connection (JTConnect) in West Hartford is witnessing impressive growth. According to the organization, there’s an 83 percent increase in teen participation since 2017 with approximately 400 teens participating in JTConnect’s programs. Due to this growth, the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Hartford (JCF) awarded JTConnect a $120,000 multi-year Springboard Grant to help the nonprofit build its capacity to ensure continued, sustainable growth.
