WEST HARTFORD, CT -- The West Hartford Public Schools Gifts of Music program is hosting a concert, on Oct. 21, to benefit the continuing mission to provide private lessons to students. Gifts of Music is a collaboration between West Hartford Public Schools, the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford, private donors, the Ellen Jeanne Goldfarb Charitable Trust, and the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving.

NEW HAVEN, CT -- The Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History will host “Fiesta Latina,” its 15th annual celebration of Latin American cultures, on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Fiesta Latina is sponsored by Avangrid Foundation, UNIVISION, UNIMAS Hartford, and Yale Latino Networking Group.
REDDING, CT -- In response to Connecticut's budget crisis, which has severely impacted students' access and exposure to music education and the arts, Connecticut-based nonprofits SpreadMusicNow and Band Together CT have announced a benefit concert in support of music education on November 4th.
