Silas Bronson Library and Connecticut Community Foundation are presenting a tech workshop for community organizers. Locally, many community organizers, advocates, and engaged residents find the time to support their communities in between shifts, on their days off, or while caregiving for a child or loved one. Often, creating marketing material or sending documents to their team can take a lot of time away from the activities that matter most.
Join Roslyn Sotero (pronouns: she/her/hers), a grassroots leaders committee member at Connecticut Community Foundation, as she walks through some of her favorite technology time-savers and content creators, such as Canva, Google Hangouts, Google Drive, Eventbrite, Mailchimp and more!
Participants are strongly encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet if possible. Dinner will be served. Children welcomed.
