GREEN 2022 Annual Meeting

The Funders Network is excited to announce that after three years of gathering on Zoom, TFN’s GREEN working group will be holding its annual meeting in person this fall. We’ll meet in Hartford, Conn., from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1 with site visits to both Hartford and New Haven. Connecticut has been a national leader in green and clean energy finance, as well as community-driven climate and sustainability solutions. This event is co-sponsored by Connecticut Council for Philanthropy and the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation.

Meeting goals:

  • Bring together TFN’s GREEN Working Group and other philanthropic colleagues for joint learning and engagement on equitable climate and sustainability work underway in Connecticut and New England.
  • Deepen learning from place and peers with a focus on philanthropy in service to community leadership and community-led solutions.
  • Provide a space for funder discussion, shared learning and exploring collaborative opportunities
  • Address several cross-cutting themes: community organizing, community-led climate and sustainability solutions, workforce and career supports in green jobs and clean energy arenas, and valuing collaborative cross-sector partnerships.
