Connecticut to Join The Boston Fed's "Working Cities Challenge" to Help Communitites Improve Economic Outcomes

HARTFORD, CT – Governor Dannel P. Malloy has announced that Connecticut will be the latest state participating in the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston’s Working Cities Challenge competition, an economic development effort that builds cross-sector collaboration and leadership to solve challenges affecting urban communities. The Connecticut Council for Philanthropy (CCP) has played a significant role as the catalyst and aggregator of matching funds from the private sector for the Working Cities Challenge.

CCP President Maggie Osborn Accepts New Post in Washington
HARTFORD, CT — Maggie Gunther Osborn, President of the Connecticut Council for Philanthropy (CCP), will leave the organization at the end of June to assume the post of Chief Strategy Officer for the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers (Forum) in Washington, DC.

HARTFORD, CT -- The Connecticut Council for Philanthropy will seek a new president come June. Maggie Osborn, its current head, announced today she is leaving to become the chief strategy officer for the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers (Forum) in Washington, D.C.
