HARTFORD, CT -- Today the City of Hartford, the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, HEDCO, Inc., and Capital for Change launched a $1 million Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program to provide at least 100 small Hartford businesses with a grant of up to $10,000 to make lease or mortgage payments, pay salaries, make vendor payments, pay taxes, or pay for other eligible expenses.

BRANFORD, CT -- The Branford Community Foundation established the COVID-19 Response Fund for Branford in March as soon as it became clear that this virus would significantly impact our community. The initial goal was to raise $20,000 to provide immediate, short-term financial relief to individuals who live or work in the Town of Branford through the Women & Family Life Center. As of April 16, thanks to the community's generosity, the fund has secured $128,611.
