NEW CANAAN, CT -- SafeHaven for Kids, a core program of Kids In Crisis announces receipt of a $15,000 grant from the New Canaan Community Foundation. SafeHaven for Kids provides 24-hour Crisis Helpline counseling and referrals, In-Person Crisis Intervention, and a comprehensive Emergency Shelter Program for Connecticut newborn to 18-year-old kids of any race, ethnicity, religion, community of origin, socio-economic status, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

Passes $4M in Giving Since Founding
NORWICH, CT -- The Chelsea Groton Foundation awarded over $464K during the Spring giving cycle – $451,813 in grants to 85 non-profit organizations from Connecticut and Rhode Island, $5,900 and counting to area non-profits through the Acts of Kindness program, and $6,500 in scholarships to 13 graduating seniors from area high schools.

KENT, CT -- The Kent Library Association has announced it has received a $6,300 grant from the Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation, the Covid-19 Rapid Response Fund, and the Northwest Corner Fund of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.
HARTFORD, CT -- Nonprofits will benefit from some extra financial support from the Travelers Championship, even in a year when the tournament itself is far from normal. As a PGA Tour event, 100 percent of the Travelers Championship’s net proceeds each year go to charity. Since 1952, the tournament has generated more than $42 million in those efforts, including nearly $20 million since Travelers became the title sponsor in 2007 and $2.1 million last year alone.
