TORRINGTON, CT -- The Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation has allocated up to $60,000 to distribute to public charities and faith-based organizations in its 20-town service area* for year-end critical-needs grants. Applications are due by Friday, October 13, 2017. Grants will be awarded in December 2017.
NORWALK, CT -- The Carver Foundation of Norwalk has been awarded a $35,000 grant from Newman’s Own Foundation, the independent foundation created by the late actor and philanthropist, Paul Newman. Newman’s Own Foundation made the award to celebrate 35 years since Paul Newman began the food company bearing his name.
