CHARLOTTE, NC -- Bank of America marks the 21st anniversary of the Museums on Us program with the announcement of more than 20 new institutions being added to the roster of participating museums and cultural attractions. In 2018, six Connecticut museums are participating in the program.
NEW HAVEN, CT -- The Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History will host “Fiesta Latina,” its 15th annual celebration of Latin American cultures, on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Fiesta Latina is sponsored by Avangrid Foundation, UNIVISION, UNIMAS Hartford, and Yale Latino Networking Group.
WESTPORT, CT -- The Westport Library announced it has been awarded a $35,000 grant from Newman’s Own Foundation for major renovations at the Library, including the organization’s long-awaited Transformation Project. Newman’s Own Foundation made the award to celebrate 35 years since Paul Newman began the food company bearing his name.
CHARLOTTE, NC -- Bank of America announces that grant applications are now open for the 2017 Bank of America Arts Conservation Project. The company welcomes and encourages applications from nonprofit cultural institutions with art requiring conservation. The application deadline for submissions is April 21, 2017.
