Women & Girls Fund Accepting Grant Applications

TORRINGTON, CT -- The Women & Girls Fund of the Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation invites nonprofits to apply for grants. Programs eligible for grants include those that serve women and girls in the development of economic self-sufficiency by means of education, financial literacy and social services. Applicants may request up to $5,000 for programs. The application deadline is March 8, 2017.

Dominion to Award $1 Million in Environmental Education and Stewardship Grants

RICHMOND, VA -- Dominion Resources announced today that it will once again provide $1 million in environmental grants this year through its charitable arm, the Dominion Foundation. Eligible organizations in Connecticut, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia and other areas within Dominion's footprint can submit applications through March 1, 2017.
