BRISTOL, CT -- On November 28, a $13,525 grant from The Broad View Fund at Main Street Community Foundation was awarded to support a collaborative exchange between Imagine Nation, A Museum Early Learning Center, the Bristol Preschool Child Care Center, and the Talcott Center for Child Development. Together, they will be launching an innovative curriculum called Bristol=Resilient Children.
STAMFORD, CT -- United Way of Western Connecticut (UWWC) announced today that they have invested $635,000 into early childhood, afterschool and educational enrichment programs in greater Danbury, greater New Milford and Stamford. All grant dollars are tied to program support for families living within the ALICE® (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) income threshold (see household budget below). The grant funding period for these allocations is January 2017- June 2018.
