Private Client Advisor

Private Client Advisors (PCAs) are the single point of contact for 25 - 80 private foundations and their board members, staff, financial advisors, and other trusted counselors. The PCA guides clients through all aspects of Foundation Source services and must have the professional demeanor to become a trusted advisor in whom clients have great confidence.  The PCA is the first line of support.  The position offers candidates the opportunity to develop expertise in all aspects of running a private foundation—compliance, grants administration, taxes, etc.

 

Qualifications

  • Some experience at a family foundation, family office or managing a grants program.

  • Strong client-service orientation and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to problem-solve independently and present yourself as an authority capable of resolving issues and providing solutions

  • Ability to communicate very clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues, tracking multiple accounts at various stages of implementation and service

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and prioritizing skills.

  • Strong analytical skills to review client issues and determine most efficient way to resolve the issue.

  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Experience with salesforce.com is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently while continuing to grow and gain expertise from senior staff
