Special Briefing: State Legislative Session Wrap Up 2024

Join the Connecticut Council for Philanthropy for a special briefing with CT Mirror Budget Reporter Keith Phaneuf and a panel of experts focused on the state budget and legislative outcomes.

As part of the Council's ongoing commitment to keeping funders updated about key issues in our state, we are hosting this briefing to hear from experts and nonprofit leaders. The panel will focus on:

  • Legislative session overview: Details of the outcomes for the legislative session. What legislation moved and why, and what are the budget plans and spending priorities?
  • Impact analysis: How will the outcomes impact communities across key areas like housing, health, and education?
  • Looking ahead: What should funders be paying attention to in the intervening months before the next legislative session begins?

Don’t miss this critical and informative conversation.

This program is for funders only. The briefing will be 90 minutes, and include an opportunity for Q&A. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from leaders on the frontlines of key issues facing our state.
