Program Description
Program's purpose: To support charitable organizations within Liberty Bank's service area. Emphasis is on providing basic needs to families and individuals of low income, especially at-risk children and families in crisis.
Funding priorities: Community and economic development, education, health, human services, housing and the arts.
Program limitations/restrictions: Does not fund annual funds of colleges, universities or hospitals; trips, tours, or conferences; scientific or medical research; deficit spending or debt reduction; lobbying; religious groups, except for non-sectarian programs; and other grant-making organizations.
Geographic focus: New London County, Middlesex County.
Geographic limitations: Middlesex and New London Counties, as well as the towns of Cheshire, Mansfield, Marlborough, North Haven, Wallingford, and Windham.

ARTS, CULTURE, HUMANITIES: Arts/cultural multipurpose.
COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT: Business service, Community/neighborhood development/improvement, Economic development.
EDUCATION: Adult/continuing education, Pre-school/elementary, Secondary, Higher education.
EMPLOYMENT/JOBS: Employment procurement/job training, Vocational rehabilitation.
HEALTH - GENERAL/REHABILITATIVE: Health treatment facilities/outpatient, Hospitals/nursing homes/convalescent care.
HEALTH - MENTAL HEALTHTREATMENT: Alcohol and drug abuse prevention/treatment.
HOUSING/SHELTER: Housing development/construction/management, Housing support services.
HUMAN SERVICE: Children/youth services, Emergency assistance (food/clothing/cash), Family services.
YOUTH DEVELOPMENT: Adult/child matching programs, Multipurpose youth centers/clubs, Youth Development Programs.
Intended beneficiaries:Poor/economically disadvantaged.
