Project Streamline: Drowning in Paperwork, Distracted from Purpose

Join your colleagues in a workshop to discuss Project Streamline, a collaboration between eight prominent organizations representing grantmakers and grantseekers, including the Connecticut Council for Philanthropy.

This workshop will present findings from a new report, Drowning in Paperwork, Distracted from Purpose which examines the impact of grant application and reporting requirements and makes recommendations for how these practices can be streamlined. Discussion and conversation will focus on the inefficiencies of the grantmaking process and the report's findings and recommendations. 

Participants will receive:

  • Copies of Drowning in Paperwork, Distracted from Purpose

  • A greater understanding of the impact that current application and reporting practice have on grantseekers and grantmakers

  • Overview and discussion of streamlining practices that have worked in other foundations and regions

  • An opportunity to provide feedback on the recommended core principles and to influence Project Streamline’s next steps.
